The Putanko FAMILY, originally from Prague, in love with the beauty of the area and often on holiday in Tuscany, noticed and fell in love with Villa Borratella during a trip in 2017 and after a long negotiation managed to buy the entire property, including all of its hectares of vineyards, olive groves and woodlands.
The family began to dedicate themselves completely to the cultivation of the vineyards and olive groves, restoring the cellar and purchasing technological machinery for the production of high quality wine.
After beginning their marketing in 2020, today production is divided into Chianti Classico, Chianti Classico Riserva, IGT, extra virgin olive oil and Grappa..
Being so passionate about Italian wine culture and lovers of local grape varieties, the family has been planting the Canaiolo and Malvasia Nera grape varieties since 2019.
